Comments: My Corgi Chase has been diagnosed with DM. I decided to try acupuncture and after the first treatment was encouraged. Obviously every dog responds differently but Chase was walking more steadily after the first treatment. I will report how the second treatment goes this Wednesday. He is 12 but I am not giving up on him.

Comments: I am attending the TCVM conference this week to hear the latest from Dr. Clemmons, whose passions is with the DM and other myelopathies. I have found the herbal approach to be great, as well as acupuncture, but I do want to add my name to the Water Treadmill list. I plan to give the law enforcement service dogs 1 work out per month for no charge. There is one beautiful GSD that has arthritic spondylosis that I cannot wait to get going. I got it installed on Friday, 10/28/11.

Comments: I was fortunate to have been able to spend time (although short) with William. He was a gentle giant, and even in periods of great discomfort, he allowed me to help him without any hesitation. He blessed the Vicar household with his appreciation for life and desire to please. William has left his paw print on many, many lives and "in my version of heaven" continues to love, run, play and bring smiles to others. Thank you William for touching my life - God bless you on your next journey!

Comments: We gave our beautiful German Shepherd, William, back to the Lord on Friday. He was almost 12. He majestically battled GSDM for 3 years, and was helped for a long period of time by Dr. Clemmons therapy. Of that we are certain. We will always miss and love our dear boy but we know that he is in a place where he can run and play without pain, limitation, or dysfunction... as he deserves. God bless his little heart. St. Francis, please hold him in the palm of your hand. Lord, please glorify his soul.
